Thyme is a fun easy herb to grow. It's part of the mint family so if conditions are right, it will take off. But not to fear, Thyme is not nearly as invasive as mint can be. It's a very tricky herb to grow from seed so it's best to buy a small plant or grow it from cuttings. Plant thyme in a very sunny location in your garden with good drainage. Water sparingly. Thyme likes it dry and tastes better when slightly stressed because its oils get concentrated in the leaves.
